Panitumumab (Panitumumab) is a recombinant fully human monoclonal antibody and targeted anticancer medicine. It binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) on the surface of cancer cells, inhibiting EGFR signaling involved in tumor cell growth and proliferation.
Indications: Panitumumab is primarily used to treat certain patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), particularly tumors that are RAS wild-type. It may be used alone or in combination with other anticancer therapies, depending on the treatment regimen.
