BEQALZI (sonrotoclax) is a prescription targeted anticancer medicine and a selective B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL-2) inhibitor. It works by binding to the BCL-2 protein, which can help cancer cells survive, thereby promoting programmed cell death (apoptosis) in malignant cells.
BEQALZI is indicated for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) after at least two previous lines of systemic therapy, including a Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor. The indication received accelerated FDA approval in May 2026.
The medicine is available as oral film-coated tablets in 1 mg, 5 mg, 20 mg, and 80 mg strengths. Treatment begins with a gradual dose-escalation schedule before reaching the recommended maintenance dose.
