Mounjaro 5 mg KwikPen is a prescription, once-weekly injectable medicine containing tirzepatide, a GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist. It is used to help control blood glucose in people with type 2 diabetes and, where approved, to support weight management alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Each dose contains 5 mg of tirzepatide in 0.6 mL, and each KwikPen provides 4 weekly doses.
Important: The 5 mg strength means 5 mg of tirzepatide in each 0.6 mL dose. The whole pen contains four doses, so it contains 20 mg of tirzepatide in 2.4 mL.
