Romiplostim N01 is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist (TPO-RA) that stimulates the production of platelets in the bone marrow. It is used to increase platelet counts in patients with certain conditions associated with thrombocytopenia, particularly immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). By activating thrombopoietin receptors, romiplostim promotes the growth and development of platelet-producing cells called megakaryocytes.
