Tucaxen 150 mg Tablet contains tucatinib 150 mg, a targeted anticancer medicine belonging to the tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) class. It works by selectively blocking HER2 signaling, which helps slow or stop the growth and spread of HER2-positive cancer cells. Tucaxen is mainly used in combination with trastuzumab and capecitabine for adults with HER2-positive unresectable locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, including patients with brain metastases. It is an oral film-coated tablet and should be taken strictly according to an oncologist’s prescription. Common side effects may include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, rash, and increased liver enzymes.
