About Sacituzumab tirumotecan
Sacituzumab tirumotecan, also known as sac-TMT, SKB264, or MK-2870, is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being studied for various cancers, particularly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and breast cancer. It works by targeting and delivering a cytotoxic payload to cancer cells expressing the TROP2 protein. TROP2, a tumor-associated antigen expressed on many epithelial-derived tumors.The ADC binds to TROP2 on cancer cells, then releases a cytotoxic payload (an undisclosed topoisomerase I inhibitor) that inhibits tumor cell proliferation and causes cell death. Utilizes a unique Kthiol linker to attach the payload to the antibody, ensuring efficient delivery and release.Applications and Studies:
